I have been deeply enamored by forests and trees going back to my earliest memories. Having lived in rural woodlands, suburban sprawl, and dense urban environments, I've developed a passion for protecting and improving the urban forest. This requires understanding both the science of how to care for trees and the financial realities that limit the care people can provide.

My approach to consulting is built on a simple premise: proactive tree care is a sound investment. A healthy, well-structured tree can add real value to a property and become a genuine asset for homeowners and municipalities alike. Neglected trees, on the other hand, tend to decline and fail far earlier — and the cost of removing a large, hazardous tree often far outweighs what proactive care would have cost. I help clients see their trees this way: not as a liability to manage, but as an asset worth protecting.
